Questions & Answers
Answers to the most frequently asked questions. If anything is unclear — feel free to message me or use the contact form.
How can I book a session?
Reach out via the contact form or direct message. We’ll discuss your goals, select a suitable package, and confirm a date. The booking is secured after the deposit is paid.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. The deposit is non-refundable, but the session can be rescheduled once — no later than 3 days before the shoot.
Do you only shoot in Sofia?
I’m based in Sofia, but available for travel upon agreement. If you have a location in mind — feel free to reach out.
When will I receive the final photos?
You will receive your photos within 7 business days. In case of high workload, delivery may be slightly delayed by prior agreement — up to a maximum of 5 business days.
Express delivery is available for an additional fee.
Do you help with posing?
I don’t like traditional posing — I prefer natural and authentic images. During the session, I gently guide you and help you find the best position in the frame, so you look your best without forced poses.
Can we change the location during the session?
If the session is booked in a studio — switching locations is possible. Keep in mind that most studios require a minimum 2-hour rental. If you want both studio and outdoor shots, I recommend the “Visual Content for Personal Brand” package — it’s designed for both locations.
What should I wear and how do I prepare for the shoot?
I’ve written helpful guides to assist you with outfit choices and how to prepare for the session.
How many people can I bring to the shoot?
I focus on individual photo stories. A quick “just a few shots with my partner or child” doesn’t really work — it takes time to create those relaxed, genuine moments.
Can I choose which photos to retouch myself?
Yes, you get to choose which photos you want to be retouched. It’s entirely up to you.
Do you provide RAW files?
No, I don’t provide RAW files. They are part of my creative process and I only deliver the final, edited photos in my visual style.
I’m just starting my brand. Can you help with the concept, or do I need to have a full brief ready?
You don’t need to come with a finished brief — I’m happy to support you from the idea and visual planning stage. Together, we’ll define the style and format that best suit your product and brand goals.
I can suggest concepts, select references, help create a moodboard, choose locations, and build the right team to craft a visual story that highlights your brand’s values.
Please note: creative concept development and visual direction are offered as a separate service and are billed additionally.
We have a limited budget — is it possible to get quality visuals without a big production?
Absolutely. I can deliver strong, professional results even with minimal resources. I shoot in real environments, work with natural light, and focus on creating visuals that are both stylish and meaningful.
That said, when there’s room to bring in a team — a stylist, makeup artist, assistants — the creative potential increases significantly. Involving professionals at each stage adds depth and polish that’s often visible in the final outcome.
We’ve never done a professional shoot for our brand before — how do we know what we need?
That’s what I’m here for. I’ll help you define what kind of content will serve your goals — whether it’s for your website, social media, product catalog, or campaign. I walk you through the process so it feels easy and clear.
Can we use the content for ads, website, or print?
All packages include usage for organic social media. If you want to use the content for paid ads, your website, or print materials, extended rights can be arranged in advance.
Can I bring my friend instead of a model for brand photo shoot? She’s pretty.
Good looks aren’t enough. Professional models know how to present clothes, embody the brand mood, and pose with purpose. With someone inexperienced, I need to spend extra time giving directions, which takes focus away from the creative process. That’s why I recommend working with experienced models who know how to move and deliver on set.
What’s the difference between a model test and a personal photo session?
A model test is a specific format designed for modeling agencies. Its goal is to showcase your face, expression, and natural presence. I usually focus on close-up portraits, minimal styling, and shoot against one simple backdrop — it’s all about the model’s look and versatility.
An individual portrait session is more personal and expressive. It’s a story about you — we explore different angles, looks, locations (if needed), and work with mood and movement. It’s more diverse, emotional, and allows for creative freedom.
